Ahh--the lovely drive to work in 8 inches of snow. It actually was very pretty this morning--unless you had to actually go out in it.
It's that wet heavy stuff that sticks to everything and makes the trees look all pretty--but by this afternoon, it's ugly dirty slushy crap that will just freeze up and turn to black ice for tomorrow's drive. Tell me again why I live here? Each winter gets harder and harder--the older I get, the less I like it.
A shout out to the idiot who thinks just because he has a 4x4 truck with a gun rack in the back, he can still go 70 mph in a 45. HEY ASSHOLE, just because you can get it going in this weather, doesn't mean you can stop the damn thing--and I laughed my ASS OFF at you as you spun around the curve sideways--when you pulled over to check your shorts, I tossed my sweet blonde hair over my shoulder and scoffed at your pathetic sorry self. Me and my little AWD Vibe just kept on tooling along--learn how to drive in the winter you fool!
We're supposed to get more snow on Friday and then it will be in the mid 40's this weekend and start to rain--so let the flooding begin again!

That's a really pretty picture. Snow always looks better when you're inside somewhere and not actually out in it. We might make it in to the 60s here by the weekend. Yay, bring on Tornado Season!
I actually took it driving towards the bridge I cross to get to work. It crosses the Maumee River and it's so pretty on days like this. I should take a follow-up picture of it as of today--it's Blech!
